Altamount acquires Verkehrsautomatisierung Berlin

Altamount Software GmbH, a platform of CHAPTERS Group AG, has signed an agreement to acquire Verkehrsautomatisierung Berlin GmbH (VAB) from Hanning& Kahl GmbH & Co. KG. The transaction is subject to approval by theFederal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), which isexpected in the second quarter of 2025.

Verkehrsautomatisierung Berlin GmbH ("VAB") developsspecialised software solutions for the control and automation of publictransport systems. With this acquisition, Altamount strengthens its portfolioof mission-critical software solutions for public transport and criticalinfrastructure.
