Altamount acquires majority stake in Cybersense

Altamount Software GmbH has signed an agreement to acquire a majoritystake in Cybersense GmbH, based in Dortmund. The transaction is subject toapproval by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action(BMWK), which is expected in the second quarter of 2025.

Cybersense GmbH, headquartered in Dortmund, specialises in cybersecuritysoftware solutions for organisations operating critical infrastructure. Thecompany supports organisations in active threat detection, security analysis,and regulatory compliance. With deep expertise in IT risk analysis, incidentresponse, and compliance, Cybersense is one of the fastest-growing providers inthe IT security space across the German-speaking market.

The seller is concentrade GmbH, which has backed Cybersense since itsfounding. The two founders, Sebastian Struwe and Ralf Sturhan, will remaininvested in the business and continue in their roles as Managing Directors todrive its ongoing development.
