Altamount acquires majority stake in Cybersense

Altamount Software GmbH has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Cybersense GmbH, based in Dortmund. The transaction is subject to approval by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action(BMWK), which is expected in the second quarter of 2025.
Cybersense GmbH, headquartered in Dortmund, specialises in cybersecurity software solutions for organisations operating critical infrastructure. The company supports organisations in active threat detection, security analysis, and regulatory compliance. With deep expertise in IT risk analysis, incident response, and compliance, Cybersense is one of the fastest-growing providers in the IT security space across the German-speaking market.
The seller is concentrade GmbH, which has backed Cybersense since its founding. The two founders, Sebastian Struwe and Ralf Sturhan, will remain invested in the business and continue in their roles as Managing Directors to drive its ongoing development.
